Barb and her husband Bob were among the founding members of UCG Fort Wayne in 1995, and she has served on and off the board through the years, most recently as Treasurer.

Barb works for Spangler Candy, the home of the "Dum Dum" Pop and is responsible for the distribution of Spangler's truckloads of candy. She has learned sign language and uses it to serve Crystal Wolfe, a deaf member in the Fort Wayne congregation.

Barb and her husband Bob were ordained deaconess and deacon on March 24, 2007. They have two daughters, both married, and four grandchildren. They live in Bryan, Ohio, and enjoy western square dancing and in their free time and spending time at the lake in the summer.
