Becky grew up in northeastern Indiana, and in 2001 graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

Becky is currently employed as an elementary school teacher with the Jay School Corp., serving in Redkey, Ind. She has taught in the Jay system for 10 years. She is also a computer tech assistant, helping troubleshoot problems that arise in the classrooms and training teachers in various computer software programs.

Becky was recognized in the publication "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" for two years.

Becky and John were married in 1992. She is a mother to one young daughter. Her hobbies include reading and sewing. This is her first term on our local board.
