Bob and his wife Barb were among the 29 founding members of UCG Fort Wayne in 1995, and he has been active in the congregation ever since. He was ordained a deacon March 24, 2007, the same day Barb was ordained a deaconess.

Bob retired from Bard Manufacturing in July 2006. He likes playing cards at the local senior center and helping others with their projects.

They have two daughters, both married, and four grandchildren.

Bob and Barb enjoy western square dancing in their free time as well as spending time at the lake in the summer. They live in Bryan, Ohio..
