Scott is magazine marketing director for the Dynamic Resource Group publishing companies. Moss grew up in rural southeastern Nebraska, and in 1977 graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in communication arts from Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas.

Before entering the world of publishing and mail order marketing at Texas-based Annie's Attic, Inc., in 1980, he served as public affairs manager for a big city anti-poverty agency and was an account executive for a full-service advertising agency.

In 1986, Moss began working for House of White Birches in Berne, Ind., and continues there as DRG magazine marketing director.

Moss and his wife, the former Peggy Nelson, were married in 1978 and have two sons, one a junior at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., and the other a married student taking a master's degree in biology preparatory to studying dentistry. He is active in his church as an elder (ordained March 24, 2007) and his hobbies include reading, mountain climbing and physical fitness activities.
